How to Create your first Builder on Qe BYOB - Bundles & Builders?

Step 1: Getting Started

Access the Dashboard:

Begin by logging into your shopify admin account and accessing the dashboard.

Create a Builder:

Click on the "Create Builder" button to initiate the builder creation process.

Name Your Builder

Provide a name for your builder in the "Builder Name" box.

Note : Builder name will not be visible to the your customers. It will only only be used in your dashboard.

Step 2: Adding Boxes

Add Gift Boxes:

To offer various gift box options, click on the "Add Box" button.

Box Details:

• Give your box a name (e.g., "Christmas Box for 3 Products").
• Upload images of the box.
• Set the price for the box (use $0 if it's free).
• Specify the minimum and maximum number of products that can be added to this box.
• Add a description of the box (e.g., Christmas-themed, red and gold, eco-friendly , some dimension of the box , how much item it will accomodate).
• Choose the price type: variable or fixed.
  1. Fixed price: If you choose a Fixed Priced box, the Giftbox price remains the same, regardless of the products added. The price set during Box creation stays unchanged, and individual product prices are not factored into the Giftbox.
  2. Variable price: Giftbox price will be calculated depending upon the products added to the Box.
• Give your box a name (e.g., "Christmas Box for 3 Products").

Save Box:

After configuring the box details, save it.

Select Box:

You will redirected to List of Boxes. Select the box(s) you want to add to the builder and click “Next”

Note : Builder name will not be visible to the your customers. It will only only be used in your dashboard.

Step 3: Adding Cards

Add a Card:

Click on "Add Card."

Card Details:

• Give your card a name (e.g., "Christmas Card with Santa Print").
• Upload an image of the card.
• Set the price for the card (use $0 if it’s free).

Save Card:

After configuring the card details, save it. You can add more cards using the same process.

Select Cards:

From the list of cards, select all the cards you want to add to the builder.

Move Forward:

Click "Next" to proceed to the next step.

Step 4: Adding Products to Builder

Add Products:

Now, add the products you want to showcase in your builder.

Select Products:

You can add specific products by searching their names in the search box or select an entire collection by checking the checkbox.

• You can create a whole new collection for Giftbox items and select that collection from the available collection on the right side of the above screen.

Note : Shopify allows maximum 250 products , collections to be listed once , so if you are having more than 250 products on your store ‘Load More’ button will be displayed in Product selection area.

Move Forward:

Once you have selected all the products, click "Next."

Step 5: Form Set-up

Customize the Form: Customize the form that customers will fill out when ordering a gift box.

Display Date of Occasion:

If the merchant enables the 'Display date of occasion' option, the below two options (a, b) will become available. This means that merchants can choose to disable delivery for specific days or select particular dates for disabling delivery

• Disable Days from Today: Merchants can choose to disable delivery for specific days starting from today.
• Select Disable Dates: In the date picker, merchants can select specific calendar dates on which they want to disable the delivery option.

Edit Fields:

You can edit fields by making them required or not required.

Add New Fields:

To add new fields, follow these steps:

• Enter the field name (e.g., "Email, Number , Text , URL , Date , Textarea, Checkbox").
• Select whether it's required or not.
• Choose the field type (e.g., "email").

Field Management:

You can keep or remove form fields by clicking the "Remove" option next to each field.

Save:

Once done, click "Save" to finalize the form setup. Here , we still have not covered the Delivery Date option which is being displayed on the Top of the screen

Completion and Activation

• After configuring all the builder details, you'll be taken to the list of builders.
• By default, your new builder will be inactive. To activate it, toggle the "Active" button.
